Baby Family

My family consists of Amma, Appa and myself. That's the basic unit.
On Appa's side, there's my Mina Patti. When Amma goes to work, my Mina Patti and my Rita Attai look after me. I try my best to be a good baby, and to take a good name for Appa and Amma.

When I'm in Mina Patti's house, my cousins, Sevanthi, Venmathi and Valaermati are always there. Sometimes, my other cousin Amirtheeni comes too. She's my Periaappa's daughter.

On Amma's side, there's my Ammama and my Tatta. You can see them in the photo here. I am my Ammama's Prince....she said so herself. I haven't got any cousins on my Amma's side yet....but I know they'll be coming soon enough so I better enjoy all the pampering while I still have the lead. I am Ammama's Prince......and Baby Appu.

Then there's Loshini Cinnama and
Nithi Mama.
Loshini Cinnama was afraid to carry me until I was almost 30 days old. I like it when Mama carries me because he's so filled out it's like sleeping against a big, fat cushion!

I guess I need to mention my Periamma C. She calls me a rose bud- very unmanly...but I'm not complaining here. I like smelling like a Rose Bud...hehe...Then there's my on-call physician, Dr Gugu Periamma.Mmmmm....I think I have to work on making that a bit shorter or I'm going to confuse myself trying to call her when I get older.

60 days

2 months old today, and Appa took a picture of me. That’s me sitting on my Amma’s lap, with my cool cap.

Hum handsome, na?

Where's my AMMA?

I had a shock this morning when I realised my Amma was gone.

She was not bathing me, my Mina Pathi was. And Amma was not feeding me or playing with me.

I was worried sick, but tried to be manly and remained cool.
Appa came home in the afternoon, and I asked Appa where Amma had gone? Appa asked me what I was doing….and I looked at Appa again and asked him where
AMMA HAD GONE?!!!
Why is everyone so cool when my Amma is missing?

Amma came back about 6.30 in the evening, and she said she went to work.

What’s work? I ask Amma. But Amma’s telling me she missed me today and asking me what I did today.

So I tell her I spent the day eating and watching TV sometimes, but most times…I was SLEEPING….hehehehehehe………and when I was awake, I was also wondering where my Amma was.
