I did not see Amma before she left to the hospital, but for two whole days, Appa kept me company.
Until today…..when Amma came home….with another baby!
I know this baby was supposed to be Thambi, so I gave one of the two tiny baby dolls I was holding in my hand to Thambi. Thambi was fast a sleep, and completely unresponsive. How boring.
I wanted Amma to carry me, but she was holding Thambi, and so Appa carried me.
When Amma went up to the room to feed Thambi, I knew I had to be there, or else, Amma might just forget about me……..
